Ep 6 F&F Review - Pasta Aglio E Olio

This recipe is inspired by the pasta dish Chef Casper's makes at home one evening and is one of FOUR recipes you are getting from the movie!

Pasta Aglio E Olio

Recipe Commitment: Low

This is a vibrant flavour punch that is simple and so so delicious!

Ingredients (serves four):

  • A packet of tubular spaghetti

  • Olive Oil

  • 12 large garlic cloves

  • 2 tsp chilli flakes

  • 1 cup fresh parsley

  • 2 lemons

  • Salt and pepper

  • Parmesan cheese 100gm


1 Cook spaghetti for 10 minutes in a boiling slated pot until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Peel and finely slice the garlic, mince the parsley and grate the parmesan cheese.

3. Cook the garlic with the olive oil until starting to brown in a large pan. Add a generous teaspoon of salt and pepper plus the chilli flakes and stir to combine. Add the cooked pasta into the pan and stir to ensure it is covered evenly with the oil and spices.

4. Remove pasta from pan with tongs and serve equally into four bowls. Evenly divide any remaining oil and spices into the bowls as well. Finally, evenly divide the parmesan and parsley on top of the four dishes.

5. Serve with lemon wedges. Make sure to stir through the parmesan and parlsey before eating! Enjoy!
